What I do

Fixtures and fans

  • Replace an indoor or outdoor light fixture at an existing box
  • Swap a ceiling fan where one already hangs
  • Chandeliers and multi-arm fixtures at standard ceiling height
  • Smart switches and dimmers

Doorbells and cameras

  • Ring and Nest doorbells, wired or battery
  • Eave and wall-mounted cameras
  • App setup, Wi-Fi, and a walkthrough before I leave
  • Fixing the camera that stopped connecting

Landscape lighting

  • Replacing dead or fogged path and spot lights
  • Swapping old halogen fixtures for LED on your existing wire
  • Re-aiming, re-staking, and digging out buried fixtures
  • Transformer and timer trouble, and runs that won't come on

What I don't do

  • Running new wire or adding a circuit
  • Moving an outlet or a junction box
  • New recessed cans where none exist
  • Anything inside the panel

That work needs a licensed electrician and a permit. If your job turns out to be that job, I'll say so and give you two names I trust. No charge for the trip.

I install around Douglas County, and I take evening and weekend appointments so you're not burning a vacation day waiting on a contractor. Shoes off, drop cloth down, old fixture boxed up and hauled away. You get a text when I'm fifteen minutes out.
